Respected brothers and sisters in Islam! we  should fear Allah as He should be feared for, the fear of Allah is the best treasure for a every Muslim. My dearest listeners! Months days and years are made to determine lifespan and to give people the opportunity to perform good deeds. Above all death goes round day and night to take the souls of those whose time is due and you will go when it is time and you shall be addressed on the Day of Resurrection on account of your deeds. …“These are only your deeds that has been recorded for you and for which I am going to reward you. So, whoever gets a good reward should be thankful to Allah and whoever gets otherwise should only blame himself.”

The act of slaughtering animal as Sacrifice (Udhiyah), is a sunnah; highly encourage practice that is performed on the 10th of  Zul-Hijjah  and the following three (3) days. It is an essential religious rite in memory of the sacrifice performed by Prophet Ibrahim [AS]. It involves the slaughtering of domestic animal (sheep, goat, cow or camel) and offering it as a sacrifice during these days of Sallah celebrations.

 The term Du’a is an Arabic word which simply means invocations and supplications. Du’a is the Arabic root word of Da’aa meaning to 'call out, to summon and to pray for something. In Islam,  Du’a is the act of supplication and calling out to Allah [SWT] for His mercy and assistance; it is a conversation between servant and his Creator the sustainer, the provider for all, the most High, the Lord, the All-Knowing, and the All-Powerful.  Du’a (prayers) can uplift, empower, liberate, heal, protect, resolve restore, rebuild and transform things or individuals. It is one of the most powerful and effective act of worship in the sight of Allah.  Du’a (prayer) has been called the weapon of the believer. It affirms a person’s belief and need to his creator Almighty.

Allah says’ So upon Allah, put your trust if you are truly believers (Q5:2-3). Relying upon Allah (Tawakkul) means having Trust in Allah in all one’s affairs. The prophet (SAW) said “When you ask, ask of Allah and you seek aid, seek from Allah. (Abu Dharri by Muslim)

Tawakkul simply means trust of the heart in  Allah (SWT) alone. To act in accordance with the principles and laws of Shari’ah. Relying upon Allah is from the action of the heart. it is found in the heart, just like Khawf  and  Taqwaa (dutifulness of Allah) all these are acts of heart.

The term parenting simply refers to father and mother or those gave birth to the younger ones. Islam builds a family in which prevails mutual respect and care. Parents and children in Islam are bound together by mutual obligations and reciprocal arrangements. Allah Says  "…No mother should be harmed through her child, and no father through his child…" [Quran 2: 233]  Parents are the first and must important and permanent teachers to a child.  Parents play a very important role in the lives of their children. They have to build a solid foundation for their kids in order to live behind them a successful life here and hereafter. The foundation needs to be built at an early age, and needs to keep it up throughout the child's age of adolescence and beyond. Individual's life success and failure depends largely on good or poor parental upbringing.
