Amaechi, Ngige Acompany El-Rufai to SSS Office

Deputy National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mallam Nasir El-rufai has appeared at the headquarters of the Department of State Security in Abuja.
Acompanied on the visit to the SSS office are Rivers State Governor, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi and Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Chris Ngige.

It however looks like the two APC chieftains who accompanied El-Rufai were denied entry into the office complex as tweeted by the former FCT Minister a while ago.
El-rufai had been away from the eyes of the SSS since the operatives of the security agency stormed his house in Abuja on Friday.
He was invited last Thursday by the agency in connection with his remarks at a conference in Abuja on Wednesday that there might be violence if the 2015 general elections were not credible.
The former minister declined the invitation citing his pending suit against the Service over his detention in a hotel in Awka during the Anambra State Governorship last November 16 as reason.
He however said that the SSS will have to provide a warrant as required by law before he can appear at the agency’s headquarters.
While the SSS claimed it discovered the whereabout of the former minister which many see as the reason for his decision to report at the office, El-Rufai in his tweet said that the “all we demanded was a warrant as required by law. They have shown one to my lawyer at the weekend,. We will report and hear them out.
